    Union Government announced unified building bye-laws for which state – Delhi

    Unified Building Bye-laws which have been revised to reduced the number of documents to be submitted for obtaining building permits from 40 to just 14, after a gap of 33 years.
    The new laws have been made user friendly through unification and simplification of a host of amendments, which was made over the last three decades and integration of approvals by different agencies into a single platform.
    Do You Know - The bye-laws were announced in New Delhi, by the Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu.
    Applicants are allowed to submit one single online application to concerned urban local body instead of approaching various agencies. Instead of making required payments to various agencies separately, now applicants can also make a single payment to the concerned urban local body electronically.

    Which country announced to end Operation Sangaris across Central African Republic in 2016 – France

    On 30th March 2016, French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian announced that France will end its Operation Sangaris in the Central African Republic in 2016.
    In December 2013, France launched the mission, as thousands were dying in ethnic violence between Christians and Muslims.
    About Operation Sangaris –
    Operation Sangaris is a military intervention of the French military in the Central African Republic, ongoing since the 5th of December 2013. It has been the 7th French military intervention since the independence of the country in 1960.

    Which new mobile app has been launched by Telangana IT Minister & Transport Minister – M-Wallet

    On 30 March 2016, new mobile app- M-Wallet, was launched by IT minister KT Rama Rao and transport minister P.Mahender Reddy. It is first of its kind in any state of India.
    This app will allow their user to download digital copies of documents like driving license and registration certificate which could be produced before the police and RTA authorities whenever they are demanded.
    About M-Wallet :
    The new mobile app M-Wallet application is available on Android and IOS platforms.
    This mobile app user can login from any mobile to access the transport document, simple and efficient single-screen display for all vehicle related documents, citizen friendly options to add multiple vehicles owned by same person and single download would save the documents permanently and would be handy for future use.

    13th India-EU Summit held in – Brussels, Belgium

     On 30 March 2016, The 13th India-European Union Summit was held in Brussels, Belgium. Prime Minister Narendra Modi represented the India in the summit. Whereas The European Union (EU) was represented by Donald Tusk, President of the European Council and Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission.

    The leaders strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Brussels on 22 March 2016 as an unacceptable affront to our open democratic societies and extended their deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
    The EU and India will remain united and firm in the fight against hatred, violent extremism and terrorism.

    Which group agreed to buy sharp corporation for $3.5 billion – Foxconn

    On 30 March 2016, Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology Group announced that it will acquire Japan’s Sharp Corporation for 3.5 billion US dollars.
    Foxconn, which is formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co (2317.TW), will pay about $3.5 billion for a two-thirds stake, cutting its initial offer by nearly $900 million following the emergence of previously undisclosed liabilities at Sharp.
