Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has notified NET Exam 2017 and invites online applications from eligible Indian candidates for same, following are the required details :
UGC National Eligibility Test (NET)  January 2017  by CBSE

General Info : Central Board of Secondary Education will be holding National Eligibility Test (NET) on 17th January 2017 (Sunday) on behalf of UGC to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

Educational Qualification : Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC   in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc.  are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

Application Fee : Rs.600/- ( RS.300/- for OBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
