    CMAT which is commonly known as a Common Management Admission Test, is normally conducted in January end. AICTE conducts CMAT across 62 cities of the country. 

    Those candidates who are interested in writing the test are required to register online. Around 72000 candidates took the test last year and this number is expected to increase this year. 

    Here all the duly registered candidates can download the admit card from second week of January onward. CMAT is basically a computer based test which is of 3 hours duration, wherein the candidates will have to answer about 100 questions. 

    Here are the CMAT Eligibility Criteria  - 

    • The interested candidate should be an Indian citizen and can only apply for the test irrespective of his or her age.

    • Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.

    • Please Note - Final year pursuing students of Graduate courses whose result will be declared before commencement of admissions for the present academic year are also eligible to apply.

    Know About CMAT Application Form 

    The candidates who are eligible and interested in applying for this test will be required to get themselves registered online. As we have mentioned above that the last date to register for the test was 10th December and it has been extended till 15th December, 2016. 

    The candidates must fill and submit the CMAT Application Form only after ensuring that they have fulfilled the eligibility criteria. 

    Do You Know – 

    • To register for the CMAT test, the interested candidates will have to enter as “New User” and fill a self-registration form by entering a few basic details. 

    • Also on submission of this form, a unique 6 digit password was generated. This password will be sent to the candidates via e-mail and SMS. 

    • However, using this password and ID the candidates will have to login to the registration portal for filling the application form and pay the requisite application fee.

    Tips: Candidates after completing the CMAT syllabus, they must practice the previous year question papers. This will definitely help them have better understanding of the exam pattern.

    Must Read - CMAT Admit Card

    CMAT Admit Card will be made available for the candidates to download in the mid of January. Keep in minds that admit card will be available in online mode only. 

    For candidates: Don’t forget to carry your admit card to your respective test center on the date of the examination for having entry. 

    Also candidate will not be allowed to enter into the exam center, in case he/she forget to bring the valid admit card.
