• What Is ATMA All About?

    ATMA i.e. AIMS Test for Management Admissions is the well-known national level entrance examination through which admission to the postgraduate management programs (MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCM, MCA, etc.) is provided. 

    However this exam is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) four times in a year. ATMA is also the single window entrance test that measures the candidate’s, verbal reasoning capabilities, comprehension skills, numerical and reasoning capabilities etc. 

    Usually, the examination of ATMA is conducted in the month of February, May and July. The examination will be held in paper and computer based mode only.

    Know About ATMA Registration -

    • The interested candidates can fill the application form of ATMA through the online or offline process.

    • However, for online registration the candidates have to register themselves through the website only.

    • All details of yours, such as Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth should be mention in the On-line Fee Payment form.

    •  If we talk about the fee, then the ATMA Registration fee can be paid through debit card/credit card (payment gateway), net banking & bank transfer. Please Note, the fee is non-refundable.

    • Till the first week of February, you can pay the fee. 

    • As soon the candidate has been successfully registered, the login credentials, which contains user name and password has been sent to the candidate’s email Id.

    • Now it’s time to activate your account and then proceed towards the filling of application form.

    • Also to avail the offline application form of ATMA, must visit the prescribed centers and purchase the form against the application fee of Rs 1100/-.

    What is the ‘Eligibility Criteria’ for ATMA?

    1. The candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.

    2. Whereas, those candidates who are in final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.

    3. 21 years is the minimum age criteria required for applying this exam. 

    Here are the details for ATMA Exam Pattern – 

    • The question paper contains total 180 questions, which are breakup in the six sections.

    • The total time is 3 hours allotted for the exam. 

    • Note: The paper based test may be attempted serial-wise but for the online test there is no such requirement.

    •  Also, the question paper type of the exam will be MCQ having four alternatives.

    Tips to prepare for ATMA – 

    • AIMS i.e. Association of Indian Management Schools does not recommend any course for the preparation of ATMA. 

    • Also the interested candidates can refer the sample tests available on the official website of AIMS for getting idea about the exam. 

    • The candidates should try to take the regular aptitude test to improve the speed.

    How to get your ‘Admit Card’ - 

    •  All the registered candidates can download their ATMA admit card easily from the official website of AIMS by providing login credentials. 

    • Don’t forget to paste your photograph on the downloaded admit card and also bring one identity proof on the examination day along with admit card.
