• SBI Specialist Officer Exam - Syllabus, Eligibility and Exam Pattern

    SBI is an India’s largest commercial bank with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is a Central Government-owned Public Sector banking and financial services company. This bank was formed on 27th January 1921 but nationalized in 1956. Every year, it creates number of employment opportunities and appoints best employees by conducting relevant selection process. SBI conducts specialist officer exam for various posts, which includes Assistant Manager (System), Developers, Test Lead, Tester and Statistician.

     Eligibility

     Educational Qualifications

     Aspiring job seekers need to have following qualifications post wise from Central/ State Government certified University or Institutions.

    Graduation Degree with relevant experience

    Master’s Degree

    B.E/ B.Tech / Post Graduation in relevant field

    MBA/ MMS/ PGDM with relevant experience

     Age Limit:

     The minimum age limit of the candidates appearing for SBI SO should be between 21-30 years depending upon the posts.

     Exam Pattern

    The SBI Specialist Online exam consists of four subjects mainly – Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & Professional Knowledge comprising of total 220 marks. There is a negative marking of one fourth marks for every wrong answer. The professional knowledge subject vary according to the post.

    Except Professional Knowledge, all other sections are of qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in all papers but the final merit list shall be prepared based on marks secured in professional knowledge alone.
