    Name of the journalist who won 2015 Reporters without Borders Prize - Syrian journalist Zaina Erhaim

    Among the Important International Current Affairs, Zaina Erhaim who is a UK-based Syrian journalist has won prestigious 2015 Reporters without Borders Prize. She won this prize for her work in war-torn Syria. She not only went there and did her duty but also trained over 100 citizen reporters. Thus many independent newspapers and magazines started there.

    Reporters Without Borders (RWB) prize is an annual award established in 1992 by Paris (France) based NGO Reporters Without Borders (RWB).The prize is bestowed upon journalists who have made a significant contribution to the defence and promotion of press freedom.

    US house of representatives has passed legislation to  tighten security screenings for Syrian and Iraqi refugees and suspend President Barack Obama's program to admit 10,000 of them in the next year.
