Justice A K Ganguly resigned as chairman of WBHRC

The former Supreme Court Judge, Justice A K Ganguly on 6 January 2014 resigned as the Chairman of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC). He resigned following allegations of sexual harassment by a law intern.

He submitted his resignation to the Governor of the West Bengal. M K Narayanan.
