Sumit Malik stripped off gold medal

India's Sumit Malik, who won the 400 metres gold in the men's 400m race of Lusofonia Games has been stripped off his medal for violating anti-doping rules and illegally participating in Lusofonia Games in lieu of a provisional suspension imposed by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).

Important to note :

The organising committee received the information from the NADA on January 27, that Sumit Malik, gold medallist of Lusofonia Games 400-metre event was served a notice for anti-doping rules violation under NADA's Anti Doping Rules, 2010.
