    Like others medical institute, JIPMER which is known as Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is one of the premier institutions in the field of medical education in India. 

    However, it also organizes JIPMER MBBS entrance exam for admission into MBBS course in 200 seats. These courses are provided by the JIPMER, Puducherry & JIPMER, Karaikal. 

    Here is the detail of JIPMER exam dates -

    How to apply for the JIPMER Application Form – 

    •Those candidates who want to apply for JIMPER exam are required to apply only through the online process.

    •From the 4th week of March to1st week of May, the JIPMER Application Form will be available.

    •The Candidates can also fill and submit the application form at official site of JIPMER.

    •However, no changes will be entertained after submitting the application form.

    •Also, the fee payment will be made only through debit or credit card or net banking.

     

    Eligibility Criteria of JIPMER - 

    •Nationality - Indian. However OCI and NRI candidates are also eligible to apply.

    •Candidates who are interested to apply must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission. There is no relaxation on age limit for reserved categories.

    •Students must have passed higher secondary or equivalent examination with subjects such as - Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology subjects.

    •Minimum scores requirement 50% marks in PCB (for general) and 40% marks (for SC/ST /OBC/ OPH (reserved), while general OPH candidates need to secure minimum 45% marks in the above mentioned subjects.
