    NMAT: Know About The Registration Process, Exam Pattern, Syllabus

    NMAT, which is commonly known as NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is a national level entrance exam. 

    However, this exam is managed by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council i.e. GMAC. 

    Very few people know this that NMAT is a postgraduate level exam, which is usually organized to get admission in MBA or other graduate management degree programs. 

    Here, these programs are offered by various colleges such as the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Study (NMIMS) and other colleges. 

    Know About NMAT Registration - 

    •The application form of the NMAT has been released.

    •Candidates here may check the exam dates section for complete schedule.

    •Interested candidate can also fill the form only through online process.

    •The application form fee will be submitted through the online or offline process.

    What are the Eligibility Criteria?

    •All the interested candidates should have to complete a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University for MBA and MBA HR in Mumbai Campus. Scoring minimum 50% marks in the aggregate is compulsory.

    •Candidates who want to join MBA Pharmaceutical Management course in Mumbai campus, they have to pass their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Science, Life Sciences, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from a recognized University. 

    •Candidates have to score minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Postgraduate degree holders in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.

    •Candidates who have completed their graduation with B.Tech or B.E in Bio-Tech or Bio-Medical can also apply for this exam.

    •While, candidates who are working in a Pharmaceutical Company for more than two years are also applicable for this exam.

    •Please Note: Those candidates who want to apply for the PGDM program in Bangalore and Hyderabad campus, firstly they have to qualify their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.

    •Also candidates who are appearing in final year examination of their Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.

    Have a look on the NMAT Exam Pattern - 

    •NMAT exam will be held through computer based mode.

    •Exam will be an objective type multiple-choice test.

    •This exam will comprise here in three parts i.e. Language skills, Quantitative skills and Logical Reasoning.

    •Two hours (120 minutes) is the time duration of the examination. 

    •There will be only 120 questions. 

    •Good news for candidates, as there is no process of negative marking.

    •However, in case the candidate will not satisfy with their marks in the first attempt then they can schedule for the retake also.

    •In one year, candidate will be allowed to take the exam as maximum of three times.

    •Also the highest score in all three re-takes will be considered for the final merit.

    Tips: How to prepare for NMAT Exam -

    •First and foremost, make a strategy plan for your exam preparations. 

    •Secondly, don’t forget to include each topic of the syllabus in your preparations. 

    •Try to make some special notes on those topics in which you feel more difficulty and discuss them with your tutors and classmates. 

    •Last but not the least, must include the best books and previous years question papers in your study materials.

    How you will get the ‘Admit Card’?

    •Selected candidates can get the admit card easily from the official portal of NMAT. 

    •However, after the application form payment acceptance by GMAC, candidates can take the printout copy of the admit card with photograph. 

    •Whereas, if a candidate opts to retake the examination, they have to retain the same admit card that they carried in their first attempt.
