    How to apply for the exam

    Staff Selection Commission conducts the Junior Engineer Exam in the month of February generally. Exam is normally tough, Candidates are advised to prepare accordingly.

    Candidates can fill the form online in the following way - 

    1. Go on the SSC Online Registration link at ssconline.nic.in online.

    2. On this link make selection in this SSC JE Recruitment.

    3. Click on apply online link.

    4. Fill all the required details.

    5. Submit it.

    6. After that completion of the form, its payment process.

    7. After completed its payment process upload your photo and Signature.

    8. Now make it submit for final submission.

    SSC Junior Engineer Exams are conducted in the following specialization

    • Junior Engineer (Civil)
    • Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
    • Junior Engineer (Electrical)
    • Junior Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical)
    • Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying and Contract)

    Eligibility Criteria 

    Education Qualification:

    Candidates must have the degree of Bachelor of engineering/ B.TECH/BE from any recognized university in the relevant field.

    Age Limit

    Candidates applying for the given post should not be above 30 years.

    Exam Pattern

    Paper – I – It is an online exam with multiple choice questions carrying weightage of 200 marks.

    It consists of General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering (Civil and Structural, Electrical & Mechanical).

    Paper – II - It is a descriptive paper carrying weightage of 300 marks and conducted in offline mode.

    Paper II aims on engineering topics in detail. The questions standard in engineering subjects will be approximately of the level of Diploma in Engineering.
