Angela Merkel bagged Israeli Presidential Medal of Distinction

Angela Merkel bagged prestigious Israeli Presidential Medal of Distinction. Angela Merkel is German Chancellor. It is highest civilian honour of Israel. Angela Merkel was awarded with the Medal of Distinction by Israeli President, Shimon Peres on 25th February 2014. 

Israel's Presidential medal is given every year by the President to a person for extraordinary contribution to the country.
