Chief Minister of Uttrakhand Vijay Bahuguna resigned

Chief Minister of Uttrakhand Vijay Bahuguna 22-month tenure came to an end on 31 Jan 2014, when he submitted his resignation to Governor of the state.

Important to note : 

There will be a visit of the observers (namely Ghulam Nabi Azad, Janardan Dwivedi and Ambika Soni) of Congress in the state. The observers of the state will attend a Congress Legislature Party meeting in which the new leader will be elected.
