    Among the important National Current Affairs, In September 2015, The book titled To the Brink and Back: India's 1991 Story by Jairam Ramesh was released. He is the former Union Environment and Forest Minister (Independent Charge).

    The book describes the fast-paced changes in the economic sector introduced by the duo Manmohan Singh and P V Narasimha Rao in 1991.

    The book recounts author’s observations when he was part of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) during first 90 days of the Narasimha Rao’s government.

    It contains key documents and notes, placed for the first time in the public domain; the personal papers of Narasimha Rao; private conversations with Manmohan Singh; Parliament proceedings; and the minutes of seminal Congress meetings.

    Puducherry government announced annual Teacher's Day awards

    Name the temple inaugrated under India-Nepal Economic programme - Bala Tripura Sundari Devi Temple

    On 5th September 2015, Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Ranjit Rae inaugurated the newly renovated Bala Tripura Sundari Devi Temple at Tripurakot located on the bank of glacial river Thuli Bheri in Dolpa district of Nepal.

    With the help of 33.3 million Nepali rupees financial support from the Indian government the temple was constructed.

    Shree Bala Tripura Sundari Devi Temple has a great socio-cultural relevance in the life of the people of the Dolpa district and is a historic structure said to be more than 900 years old. The temple has been renovated with improved facilities for 20000 pilgrims visiting the temple every year.

    Apart from this, school building of Shree Chandannath HS School and Khalanga Bazar, in Jumla district, constructed with Government of India at a grant assistance of 24.94 million Nepali Rupees was also inaugrated.

    The school was established in 1951 and was upgraded to Higher Secondary school in 2006. Shree Chandannath HS School is one of the important educational institutions of this remote district in Nepal’s mid western region.

    On the other hand, the Union Government also extended its assistance of around 300 million Nepali rupees for renovation, restoration, updation of various religious, cultural and historical sites of Nepal.

    Extension of Delhi Metro Line till Faridabad was inaugrated by - Prime Minister Modi

    On 6th September 2015, the extension of Delhi Metro connecting Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar in Faridabad was inaugrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    With the help of this extension till Faridabad, an industrial hub in Haryana, around two lakh daily passengers between the national capital and the industrial hub in Haryana will be benefitted.

    The total expenditure of the project from Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar was around 2500 crore rupees.

    Out of this, 400 crore rupees was spent by Delhi Metro, 1557 crore rupees was given by the Haryana Government and 537 crore rupees was contributed by the Union Government.
