    India held first ever trilateral dialogue with - Japan and Australia

    On 9th June 2015, India, Japan and Australia held first ever high level trilateral dialogue in New Delhi which was attended by Indian foreign secretary S Jaishankar, Japanese vice foreign minister Akitaka Saiki and Australian secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Varghese. Prospects of cooperation in the fields of economy and security with special emphasis on maritime security was discussed between the representatives.

    Next round of talks with be held in Tokyo (Japan). 

    Who was conferred with 2015 Sant Namdev National Award - Parkash Singh Badal

    On 10th June 2015, Prestigious 14th Sant Namdev National Award was conferred to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for promoting peace, communal harmony and universal brotherhood. This award was presented to him by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on behalf of the Sarhad Foundation at a function in Pune.

    A prize amount of Rs. 101000 along with a citation was given to Mr. Badal.

    What is PayZapp - HDFC Bank mobile app

     Among the Important Banking Current Affairs, On 10th June 2015,  mobile app named "PayZapp" was launched by HDFC bank for a complete digital payment and purchase solution. With this mobile app now HDFC bank customers will able to manage their credit or debit card details, recharge and pay bills, use virtual card, send money through a wallet and shop etc. 

    Customers of the bank will able to download this app from Google play store from 15th June onwards.

    Who has been named as new Delhi Law Minister - Kapil Mishra

    On 10th June 2015, Kapil Mishra was named as new Law Minister of Delhi, he is also serving as vice chairman of Delhi Jal Board. He is MLA of Aam Admi Party and represents Karawal Nagar Assembly seat. He will be succeeding Jitendra Singh Tomar who has resigned from the post after his arrest in fake degree case. 

    Name of the indigenously built aircraft carrier which was undocked in Kochi - INS Vikrant

    Among the National Current Affairs, On 10th June 2015, Indigenous aircraft carrier of India INS Vikrant was undocked from Cochin Shipyard in Kochi, Kerala. Undocking of INS Vikrant was happened after structural work of the ship was completed. Now its second phase of work is expected to be complete by 2017. 

    Few Important Points about INS Vikrant :

    • INS Vikrant is largest and first indigenous aircraft carrier of India.
    • It will weigh around 40000 metric tonne after completion, it has lenght over  260 metres and breadth of 60 metres.
    • It will undergo basin trials in 2017 and by 2018 end will be inducted into Indian Navy.
    • After its induction India will be fifth country after USA, Russia, UK and France which is capable of designing and constructing aircraft carriers.

    For which mission ISRO was presented with 2015 Space Pioneer Award - Mars Orbiter Mission

    ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) was honoured with Space Pioneer award for the year 2015 in the Science and Engineering category. ISRO was honoured during the 34th Annual International Space Development Conference held at Toronto in Canada. This Conference was held on 20th May - 24th May 2015. ISRO published this information on it official website on 8th June 2015. NSS (National Space Society) of USA presented this award to ISRO for its efforts in accomplishing Mars Orbiter Mission in its very first attempt.

    • On 5th November 2013, Mars Orbiter Mission was launched.
    • It was designed with five scientific payloads ina record time of 18 months.
    • It did 300 days journey before entering Mars orbit on 24th September 2014.
    • As of now spacecraft is under solar conjunction at Mars.

    26-nation Tripartite Free Trade Area (TFTA) agreement was signed by - African leaders

    Among the International Current Affairs, On 10th June 2015, Tripartite Free Trade Area (TFTA) pact was signed between African leaders which will pave a path for creating Africa's largest free-trade zone. This pact was signed at COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite Summit 2015 held at the Red Sea resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn of Ethiopia and Mohamed Bilal, Vice-President of Tanzania signed this pact.

    James Last passed away, he was - Big Band Leader

    On 9th June 2015, German composer and Big Band leader James Last died in Florida at the age of 86. He was a big name in pop hits in a big band style and he sold more than 80 million records worldwide. 

    He began his musical career after World War II and performed about 2500 live concerts during a career spanning some six decades. 

    His first album was released in 1965, name of the album was "Non Stop Dancing".
