India won a Gold and a Bronze at - Asian Indoor Rowing Championship 2015
Among the important Sports Current Affairs, On 26th April 2015, India won a Gold and a Bronze at the 2015 Asian Indoor Rowing Championship. Succha Singh Tomar and Dushyant Singh won the gold in the 2000m men’s light weight pair category. Om Prakash and Rajesh Verma settled for a bronze in the 2000m men’s open-pair event.

Among the important Sports Current Affairs, On 27th April 2015, 22nd President’s Cup Open International Boxing Tournament was won by India. India has been crowned champions at the President’s Cup which was held at Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia for the first time.
With 1 Bronze and 4 Gold, India championed the tournament on top with 33 points whereas Mongolia concluded second in the tournament. In women's, Shamjetsabam Sarjubala won the gold in 48 kg category and Pinki Jangra won the gold in 51 kg category.
In men’s category, Rakesh Kumar won gold in 69 Kg and Harpal Singh won gold in 75 Kg. Harpal defeated Jee Deok-Seong of Korea while Rakesh defeated Hiroaki Kinjo of Japan to win the Gold.
Manish Kumar won Bronze in the 60kg category in the semifinals after he lost against Mongolia's Dorjnyambuu Otgondalai.
Men`s title of Badminton Asia Championships 2015 was won by - Lin Dan of China

Liliyana Natsir and Tontowi Ahmad of Indonesia beat defending champions Lee Chun Hei and Chau Hoi Wah of Hong Kong in the mixed doubles.
Name the first black female Attorney General of United States - Loretta Lynch
Among the important International Current Affairs, On 27th April 2015, the first African-American woman to serve as the nation’s top law enforcement official, Loretta Lynch was sworn-in as the United States' 83rd Attorney General.
On 24th April 2015, former attorney general Eric Holder left the position after serving six years as Attorney General. Prior to this, she has served as the US Attorney for the eastern district of New York.
She is also the second female to serve as Attorney General of the US after Janet Wood Reno. She has a history of successfully prosecuting terrorists who plotted to bomb the New York subway and the Federal Reserve Bankher and is known for her work on high-profile anti-terror cases.
