Micro satellite rocket launched by which country - Japan

On 3rd February 2018, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency ( JAXA ) launched smallest rocket of world which has ability to put a micro satellite into orbit. It was failed last year. This rocket has height of 10 metres and its diameter is only 53 centimetres. It was launched from Uchinoura Space Centre in Kagoshima prefecture.

India clinch Under-19 Cricket World Cup on - 3rd February 2018

India defeated Australia by 8 wickets to conclude their 4th Under-19 Cricket World Cup Victory at the Bay Oval ground, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand on Saturday 3 rd February 2018.

India is now the only teams to win the junior Cricket World Cups 4 times. This was India's 6 appearance in the final. India trailed a 217-run target in 38.5 overs, headed by 102 runs with 101 balls by Manjot Kalra.

The BCCI has declared a prize money for the winning team. India's Under-19 Head coach Rahul Dravid will get Rs.50 lakh as prize money. Members of team will get Rs.20 lakh everyone and the members of the Support Staff will get Rs.20 lakh per member.

Captain Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill, who had an extraordinary tournament, got out for 29 and 31 scores respectively. Even, rain delayed the match by approximately 15 minutes at the starting of the 2nd inning. Earlier in the day, India bowled out the Australian team for 216. Shiva Singh, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Ishan Porel and Anukul Roy picked 2 wickets each while Shivam Mani picked 1 wicket.

Porel's 2/30 in the starting, dismissed both the openers of the opposite team. Nagarkoti’s 2/41 dismissed Australian captain Jason Sangha for 13 scores. Jonathan Merlo's 76 runs off 102 balls eased Australia to overcome the 200-run mark.
