Delhi Waveriders won Hockey India League cup 2014

Delhi Waveriders on 23 February 2014 emerged as the champions of the Hero Hockey India League 2014.

Delhi Waveriders defeated Jaypee Punjab Warriors at Astroturf Hocket Stadium in Ranchi. 

In the final match of the tournament, Delhi scored 3-1 against Punjab in the shoot-out after the regulation 70 minutes game ended in a 3-3 tie.

Delhi Waveriders was captained by Sardar Singh.
