    SNAP Exam – What it is?

    Symbiosis National Aptitude Test which is also known as SNAP is a university level examination, which is regulated by Symbiosis University. 

    Those candidates who are willing to take admission in management courses (MBA) offered by associated institutions of Symbiosis International University, this exam is mandatory. 

    It is not only clearing the test but candidates have to go through the Personal Interview and Written Ability Test round too. All the rounds are organized by each of these institutions for admission. 

    How to get the SNAP Admit Card - 

    From 2nd December, 2016 the SNAP admit card can be easily seen and can be easily taken out from the official site. 

    Please Note: It is compulsory for each and every candidate to bring their admit card along with photo identity proof at the time of the exam. Candidates has also make sure to paste latest and colored passport size photograph on the admit card. However, till the procedure of admission candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe. 

    Eligibility Criteria for the SNAP Exam are - 

    •Interested candidates must have cleared their graduation from any statutory/ recognized University or institution with securing minimum of 50% marks (for general candidates) and 45% (for SC/ST candidates).

    •Also if candidates have passed their qualifying exam from Foreign University, they must obtain an equivalence certificate from the AIU.

    •For this exam Foreign National (FN), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Non Resident Indian (NRI) candidates are also eligible. 

    •Not only this, the candidates who have completed their qualifying degree from any foreign university or the institution must obtain the equivalent certificate from the AIU (Association of Indian Universities). 

    Have a look on SNAP Exam Pattern - 

    1.The SNAP question paper will contain total 180 objective type questions.

    2.In this exam, each question will contain four optional answers from which candidates have to choose the right answer.

    3.Each correct answer will carry 1 mark.

    4.While, each incorrect answer will lead to 25% negative marks.

    5.The SNAP Exam duration will be two hours (120 minutes).

    6.Please Note: Candidates should use only blue or black ball point pen to answer.

    Few Tips For SNAP Preparation - 

    •First and foremost, prepare a good time-table for your exam preparations. 

    •Secondly, divide your time equally for all the subjects, including little time breaks between long hours of study. 

    •Don’t forget to prepare for the exam as per the prescribed syllabus. 

    •Also select the best books for exam preparations. 

    •Last but not the least, try to practice sample papers and previous years question papers for better preparations.

    Syllabus of SNAP  - 

    The SNAP syllabus includes various topics such as -

    •General English (Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability)

    •Quantitative

    •Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency

    •General Awareness (General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Business Scenario)

    •Analytical and Logical Reasoning.
