    The Sino-Indian Digital Collaboration Plaza- SIDCOP, has been initiated by the National Association of Software and Services Companies in collaboration with Municipal Governments of Guiyang & Dalian.

    Delhi to Open 6 World-Class Skill Centres  declared by - CM Arvind Kejriwal in 2017

    The government of Delhi has finalised to open 6 World-Class Skill centres- WCSCs, in the national capital to make students to obtain different professional skills.
    More about the World Class Skill Centres

    • The decision to initiate the World Class Skill Centres was declared by the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in 2017.
    • The 6 skill centres would be initiated at Institute of Basic Business Studies; Integrated Institute of
      Technology Dwarka, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University; Society for Self-Employment Wazirpur; SSE- Jhandewalan & RIT Rajokari.
    • These skill centres would be formed at the non-used space in the current buildings of ITIs, polytechnics, degree colleges & universities.
    • The courses in Health & Wellness, Information and Technology & IT-based Services, Retail Management, Hospitality &Tourism, Accounts, Banking & Finance, Automobile, Electronics, Media & Event Management, Production, Apparel & Food Production will be available in these skill centres.
    • The government would form 6 World class Skill Centres in phase-1 & 19 extra Skill centres in Phase-2.
    • The government of Delhi had announced the decision to initiate 25 WCSCs after the success of the first World-Class Skill centres at ITI, Vivek Vihar, ongoing in 2013.

    25th Edition of Partnership Summit to be held in Mumbai, initiated by - Vice President of India

    The Partnership Summit delivers for a global platform to dialogue, debate, deliberate & engage Indian & global leaders on economic policy & development trends in India. The 25th edition of the Partnership Summit would be initiated by Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu in Mumbai.

    The Partnership Summit is being held by the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, State Government of Maharashtra & Confederation of Indian Industry. The Partnership Summit-2019 will resent India in the present landscape of a developing “New India” & the “New Global Economic Address”.
    The sessions will be organised on the following themes in the Partnership Summit:
    Partnering with New India,
    Reforms & De-regulation– Strategies to Boost Investment,
    The Infra Expanse– A Super Imperative for Growth,
    The Inclusion Dynamics– A Digital Wireframe for all.
    The Summit will be chaired by Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Suresh Prabhu. He will deliver the important address.
    A Special address will be given by Minister of Trade of South Korea, Kim Hyun Chong & Minister of

    Sanskriti Kumbh inaugurated at - Prayagraj UP

    The UP-Governor Shri Ram Naik initiated the Sanskriti Kumbh at Prayagraj. The Sanskriti Kumbh rejoices the composite of Spiritual Consciousness & Cultural Heritage of India in the main grounds of Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. It is being held by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative.

    One family One Job scheme of Sikkim by - Sikkim CM

    The CM Sikkim Pawan Kumar Chamling has declared the ‘One family One job’ Plan to provide
    employment to the youngsters of Sikkim.

    • One family one job plan permits single government job for every family in the state.
    • The CM gave appointment letters to more than 12000 unemployed youngsters at an employment fair held at the Paljor Stadium in Gangtok. Only members of those families which do not have a government job currently were eligible for government employment under the plan.
    • The government has declared that the nature of the job is not temporary & would be regularised after 5 years.
    • Sikkim is the 1st state in the nation to launch an exclusive program which permits every family in the state with a government job & Sikkim earmarks 70% of its revenues towards salaries for state government employees.

    Atal Tinkering Lab Handbook Released by - NITI Aayog

    The Atal Tinkering Lab Handbook Nayee Dishayen, Naye Nirman, Naya Bharat was publicised by the
    NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission.
    During the programme, an announcement of 10 Months Student Entrepreneurship Program to assist the top 6 innovations across 6 crucial themes having wider social impact, namely, Clean Energy, Waste

    Marathon 2017 to convert these innovative prototypes into working, scaled & Go-to-Market products was accomplished.

    Trishna GasProject of ONGC approved by - National Wildlife Board 

    The National Wildlife Board has given its consent for the Trishna Gas project of ONGC which comes
    under the Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary in the Gomati district of Tripura.

    Oil and Natural Gas Commission has found 10-12 gas bearing wells in the Trishna Wildlife sanctuary. The gas filtered from these wells would be delivered to the North-Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd maintained 100 megawatts gas-based thermal power project at Monarchak in Sonamura subdivision of Sipahijala district of Tripura. The Tripura unit of Oil and Natural Gas Commission has also promissed to issue Rupees 25 crore to the state government for ongoing Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.
    Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary

    • The Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary was found in 1988.
    • The flora and fauna in the sanctuary fall under 4 broad categories of tropical semi-evergreen forest, the East Himalayan lower Bhanar sal, Moist mixed deciduous forest & the Savanah woodland.
    • Protruding medicinal plant species include Kurcha, Tulsi, Vasak, Sarpaganda, Rudraksha, Bel, Chirata, & Kalamegh that can be found here.
    • The wildlife prominent in the sanctuary consists of Indian Gaur, Deer, Hooklock Gibbon, Golden Langur, Capped Langur, Pheasants & Reptiles.
    • National Wildlife Board National Board for Wild Life is a statutory society constituted under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. It is a top body to review all wildlife-linked matters & supports projects in & around national parks & sanctuaries.
