    20 States sign MoU for implementing Ayushman Bharat – National Health Protection Mission

    20 States have inked MoU with Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for executing Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection Mission. The Memorandum of Understandings were inked during Health Ministers’ meeting organised in New Delhi. During the meeting, aspects of National Health Protection Mission, including operational strategies, model tender papers for selection of insurance firms and execution support agencies for trusts were deliberated.

    • Ayushman Bharat- National Health Protection Mission focuses to goal more than 10 crore poor and susceptible families based on Socio Economic and Caste Census 2011 record.

    • The plan assimilates 2 continuous Centrally subsidized plans including Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana and Senior Citizen Health Insurance Scheme.
