Name of former Indian football team coach who will be conferred with Mohun Bagan Ratna - Syed Nayeemuddin

Among Important Sports Current Affairs, On 15th June 2016, It was announced that Dronacharya awardee football coach Syed Nayeemuddin will be awarded with Mohun Bagan Ratna. Mohun Bagan Ratna is a prestigiuos award which is being awarded annually to football players. He will be getting awarded with this award on 29th July on Mohun Bagan Day.

Syed Nayeemuddin is only football player of India who has got Dronacharya award.
He was captian of Indian football team which clinched bronze medal in 1970 Asian games.

Rio 2016 unveils - Official slogan for Olympic and Paralympic Games

Among Important Sports Current Affairs, On 14th June 2016, Rio 2016 organising committee revealed official slogan for Olympic and Paralympic Games in South America. Its slogan is "A new World".
President of  International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach unveiled this slogan. Apart from this designs of medals were also unveiled at the occasion.

Name of Assam PCC president who passed away - Anjan Dutta

On 16th June 2016, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Anjan Dutta passed away due to cardiac arrest at the age of 64.
Anjan Dutta had lead Youth Congress of state in 1988. He was minister in Tarun Gogai govt (2001-2006) when he was credited with to revive Assam State Transport Corporation.

When was World Day to Combat Desertification 2016 observed - 17th June

On 17th June 2016, World Day to Combat Desertification (WDCD) was observed across the globe.
Slogan for this year was - "Protect Earth. Restore Land. Engage People.".

Name of Chinese exascale supercomputer which will be in operation by 2020 - Tianhe-3

Super Computer of China named Tianhe - 3 will be operational by 2020 it is expected to be fastest in world by that time as it will able to perform a billion billion calculations per second. US has same plans but China is ahead in this case.
As of now Chinese Super Computer Tianhe - 2 is considered fastest in world which was introduced in 2013.

Among Important Business Current Affairs On 15th June 2016, founder chairman of Bharti Enterprises Sunil Mittal was elected as the chairman of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Voting for same was held in Sao Paulo Brazil.
He will be 51st Chairman of ICC.
In 1919 ICC was founded and its first president was Etienne Clementel who was also former French minister of commerce.

What is route of transit facility which became operational between India and Bangladesh - Kolkata-Ashuganj-Tripura

On 16th June 2016, India-Bangladesh transit facility became operational under revised Inland Water Transit and Trade Protocol. This route is Kolkata-Ashuganj-Tripura.
This transit was inked when PM Narendra Modi visited Dhaka in June 2015 with an aim to boost trade with Bangladesh.
First ship which was deported from Kolkata carrying 1000 tonnes of stell and iron sheets reached Bangladesh at Ashuganj river port.
