    With whom AAI has signed MoU with - IL&FS

    On 20th November 2015, Airports Authority of India (AAI) to spread its wings overseas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IL&FS Global Financial Services.

    With the signing of this MoU, AAI seeks to go global from local, considering its expertise and capabilities in airport development and operation and management in Middle East, Africa regions as well as in CIS countries.

    AAI has developed more than 60 airports in India over a period of time.

    Who has been elected as President of FICCI - Harshavardhan Neotia

    Among the important appointments, On 20th November 2015, Chairman of Ambuja Neotia group, Harshavardhan Neotia was elected as the President of industry body Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

    About Harshavardhan Neotia

    At present, he is the Senior Vice President (VP) of FICCI.

    Apart frm this, he is also a member of the West Bengal Chief Minister's Core Committee on Industry and Rajasthan Chief Minister's Advisory Council.

    He was conferred with Padma Shri for his outstanding initiative in social housing in 1999.

    Sister-State Agreement has been signed between - Rajasthan & South Australia

    Among the important National Current Affairs, On 20th November 2015, South Australia and Rajasthan inked the historic Sister-State Agreement to boost export and investment opportunities.

    Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in Rajasthan and South Australia Trade and Investment Trade Minister Martin Hamilton-Smith signed the agreement.

    Highlights of the agreement

    • The agreement is based on a two-way exchange of technical capabilities, research and policy.
    • The proficiency of South Australia in sustainable water management will also play a important role to improve water access and security for businesses and communities.

    Which government has signed 295 MoUs - Rajasthan Government

    Among the important National Current Affairs, On 20th November 2015, 295 MoUs has been signed by Rajasthan Government worth 3.3 lakh crore rupees investment during the Resurgent Partnership Summit 2015.

    Highlights of the MoUs

    • Manufacturing sector of the state fetched MoUs worth 11760 crore rupees and Infrastructure got MoUs worth 17038 crore rupees.
    • Roads and Highways got 10000 crore rupees MoUs.
    • Around 239694 lakh jobs will be provided in the state.
    • MoUs worth 190000 crore rupees were received by the Energy sector followed by MoUs worth rupees 77657 crore rupees by Petroleum.
    • Education got 1807 crore rupees MoUs, Agriculture with 2402 crore rupees, Tourism was allotted with 5783 crore rupees MoUs and Medical and Health with 4752 crore rupees MoUs.
