Name of Indian banker who was awarded with Green Economy Visionary Award - Raghavan Seetharaman

Among Important Banking Current Affairs, On 30th May 2016, Qatar-based Indian banker Raghavan Seetharaman was awarded with Green Economy Visionary award. He was awarded with this prestigious award for him environment-friendly activities and for promoting green economy.
He was honoured in a Summit held in Rome by Chairman of Union of Arab Banks Mohammed Jarrah Al-Sabah.

India joins Hague Code of Conduct against - Ballistic Missile Proliferation

On 1st June 2016, India joined Hague Code of Conduct against Ballistic Missile Proliferation. Vienna is central contact for same to which India notified using diplomatic channels.
It was done with an aim to strengthen global non-proliferation objectives.

On 3rd June 2016, Noted actor and director Balu Anand passed away. He was a noted figure of Tamil films. He was 62 years old. He acted in about 100 films and also directed few films.

India inked MoUs for co-operation in IT, handicrafts sector with which country - Tunisia

Among Important MoU's, India and Tunisia inked MoUs for co-operation in IT, handicrafts sectors. These were inked in the presence of Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid.
Also both countries agreed to enhance co-operation in counter terrorism and other fields.
